Introduction to Solving for a Variable By Ms. Hess

This set of lessons introduces students to the concept of a variable and how to solve for a variable in a simple equation. We begin with a simple addition equation, and then move through all of the operations, including roots and powers. Students will also learn how to deal with fractional values as the coefficient of a variable in an equation.
