In this group of lessons, negative numbers are introduced and explored. The relationship and relative sizes of positive and negative numbers are demonstrated and students are shown how to compare and order positive and negative values. Additional lessons explore the concept of a negative reciprocal and how to find the negative reciprocal of a whole or fractional value.
